5 Simple things I do for great sleep

  1. First I start by drinking a cup of Ashwagandha, 5000mg to be exact. It calms the mind and body, by the time I get into bed I am relaxed to the core.
  2. Second, is the most important. stretching. I stretch for at least 15 minutes, though perhaps I need to extend that. This is a great way to make your self feel better not only before you sleep but also for tomorrow. This too helps with relaxation, you just might yawn a few times while you’re doing it.
  3. Meditation. I let sit on the floor and let my mind run free for 30 minutes. I don’t purposefully think of anything, even though I still come up with great ideas while doing so. Your brain needs to run free sometimes, we fill our minds with too much artificial stimulation. We need to let it detox.
  4. I wear blue light blocking glasses at night along with making it dark in the house. This helps your body adjust to the time after looking at ant screens.
  5. Be sure to stop your screen time an hour before bed too, screens at night ruin your circadian rhythm.
